Inspired by the best players in the world, FootJoy say their new Tour-S shoe was created to deliver superior platform stability, and Tour-calibre performance.
By including new Launch Pod and Power Strap tech along with a Powerplate outsole, FootJoy reckon the Tour-S is designed to increase power, precision and comfort.
Power:
The Tour-S PowerPlate outsole provides a lightweight stable platform from which players can efficiently transfer power throughout the golf swing. Built upon a foundation of Pebax polymer, the PowerPlate featurs an integrated carbon weave fiberglass mid-foot plate and nine LaunchPods to create additional structure, surface area and ground coverage for maximum stability.
Precision:
FootJoy say PowerStrap tech with is integrated into the shoes upper provides lock-down and lateral support. New collar and tongue designs deliver a secure, precise fit.
Comfort:
A dual density Fit-Bed ensures the Tour-S offers all-day underfoot comfort and a premium leather upper gives a top grade feel, finish and waterproof protection.
What do the tour players reckon?
Rafa Cabrera Bello said; “From the moment I tested this shoe, I knew it provided the perfect blend of comfort and stability, especially on my left side as I move through the ball.”
Kevin Kisner commented; “It feels like a wider platform than I’m used to, like I have more ground coverage and contact and a much more stable base.”
