Cobra reveal F-Max woods, hybrids and irons

Cobra reveal their F-Max woods, hybrids and irons, which Cobra say targets golfers with moderate swing speeds

There’s a bit of a trend lately of designing golf clubs without giving a second thought to how much they’ll cost. It means brands end up with a super expensive set which are arguably more precisely made from better materials.

But the engineers behind Cobra’s F-Max range have gone towards the opposite end of the scale, focusing only on producing the lightest, most forgiving woods, hybrids and irons available – which they say will work better for golfers with moderate swing speeds.

Cobra F-Max Woods & Hybrids: The Details

Each of the Cobra F-Max woods and hybrids have been specifically optimised to maximise club speed and carry distance. Back and heel sole weighting helps square the face at impact promoting higher straighter shots whilst an offset neck helps increase launch angle and draw bias to maximise carry distance.

New super lightweight 50g shafts mean more swing effort’s turned into ball speed and Cobra reckon a new crown stripe boosts confidence at address and helps you set up squarer to the target more often.

Cobra F-Max Irons: The Details

Cobra haven’t limited their efforts to just the woods either, their engineers have carried the superlight theme through to a new set of F-Max irons too. Weighting has been strategically positioned closer to the heel to help golfers deliver a squarer club face at impact, an offset hosel also promotes a higher trajectory with added draw bias.

A progressive set construction means each clubs been specifically designed for its specific purpose on the golf course and because Cobra are big advocates of One Length irons you get the choice of both standard and single length models.

Prices start from £229 for the driver and £449 for a set of the irons, their available in store now, for further information visit www.cobragolf.co.uk
