Callaway unveiled new 2017 Mack Daddy Forged wedges.
If you are looking for a wedge that has premium forged Tour player styling that doesn’t compromise on playability then Callaway say the new Mack Daddy Forged Wedges are for you.
Callaway say that the master of wedge design, Roger Cleveland, has worked closely with Tour pros to create a premium set of wedges that can be played by golfers of all levels in the new Mack Daddy Forged.
More Spin
The new 16-groove configuration incorporates an added groove near the leading edge for more spin, especially on pitches and chips.
New •R• Sole Grind
Callaway have developed a new •R• sole grind that they say gives the Mack Daddy Forged wedges the versatility needed to play a variety of shots from all types of surfaces. They say the defined crescent sole and mid bounce makes greenside shots easy to play, from square-faced skippers to open-faced flops and everything in between.
New shape
Callaway say the new shape of the Mack Daddy Forged wedges sees less offset, a squarer toe and a straighter leading edge adding up to cleaner and more traditional appearance at address, something preferred by tour players.
Tour Issue Shafts
The Mack Daddy Forged wedges come equipped with True Temper’s Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S200 Blue label shaft, which is the most popular wedge shaft on the PGA Tour. There is also a matching blue Lamkin UTx grip, Callaway say both offer great feel, traction and control.
