New Ping autumn winter apparel revealed

Ping have dedicated some serious time and effort into developing their apparel and waterproofs over the last two years and from the look of their new autumn winter range the hard work is paying off.

Ping have really focused on delivering what they call “improved playability” with the new apparel range. So the story is consistent with their golf clubs and they’ve fulfilled the brief by using more tech laden fabrics and materials with a sprinkling of luxury. Ping reckon the Sensor Warm collection boasts of lightweight, low-bulk, zonal warmth and four-way stretch which will maximise your on course comfort this winter. Durable water resistant finishes also mean great protection in cold and wet conditions.

For us a couple of highlights are the insulated Latitude jacket (RRP £80), which has a quilted front, with fleece lined body and sleeves to ensure an excellent warmth to weight ratio along with a water resistant finish.

The Verve insulated trousers (RRP £70) have a hollow fibre lining (much like a duvet) to trap warm air for greater insulation in cold conditions. Ping reckon they’re guaranteed to keep you comfortable and protected on the course against even the severest of conditions.

Ping haven’t just focused on clothing either, they’ve also got a fantastic line up of waterproofs to keep you on the golf course in the heaviest downpour. A new Frontier jacket (RRP £150) from the Sensor Dry range is constructed from a 3-layer stretch fabric, and is guaranteed waterproof to 15m (for 3 years) just like some of the market leaders.
