Welcome to another edition of TG’s Top Deals, our weekly round-up of the best golf gear deals going. We think we’ve excelled ourselves this week, with a brand new Cleveland wedge for under £50, a Callaway Big Bertha for £90, and a bargain pair of shoes that are good enough for a TG writer and US Open champion. Cleveland 588 RTX CB wedge – £49.99

You don’t need me to tell you that Cleveland make fantastic wedges. The cavity back on the 588 RTX CB is designed to offer more forgiveness on off-centre hits, you know, if you ever have those… 

For right-handers, it is available in 54° and 58° in satin chrome or 52° and 54° with a black pearl finish.

Lefties can get the satin chrome with 58° of loft or the black pearl with 52° or 56°.

Ashworth Cardiff ADC golf shoes

These are the shoes I’ve been wearing for the last year or so. They’re comfortable, perform well, and do the business with trousers or shorts. Now available for £54.99, you can’t say fairer than that. Justin Rose was wearing them when he won the 2013 US Open, which slightly eclipses the division one midweek stableford victory they carried me to in 2015.   

Callaway Big Bertha – £90

Stumbling across my shoes at such a good price made me wonder how much some of my other gear is available for now. This driver has been in my bag for two years now, which means it’s had over 200 rounds and probably been hit about 4,000-5,000 times, including practice sessions. You can get a 9° version on GolfBidder, used but with a brand new grip, for just £90. If you want it in 10.5°, it’s still great value at £99.
