Powakaddy reveal new Touch trolley

Pretty much all new gadgetry comes with Touch technology, from tablets to airport check-in desks. That’s exactly what PowaKaddy say they’ve done with their new Touch trolley.

The Touch features “Touch and Go” technology which simply needs the golfer to touch the trolley’s handle and start walking.

The trolley then matches its speed to your walking pace, which PowaKaddy says simplifies controlling the trolley’s speed. but also allows you to focus 100% on your game.

“All the technology is out of sight and out of mind, so it’s as simple as Touch and walk at the speed you want to travel” PowaKaddy’s Engineering Manager Andy Thompson told TG.

“It’s an extremely intelligent technology and a significant amount of work has been undertaken by our R&D team to make sure it performs intuitively across all sorts of terrain” added Thompson.

The Touch’s tech doesn’t end there. There’s also a new Kinetic LED display which glows green when the trolley is moving and goes red to signify you’ve stopped. The Touch will also sport a Polar White or Classic Black paint job, and come with sporty 11” low profile wheels, a whisper quiet motor, USB charging point and a plug ‘n’ play 18 hole lithium battery.
