The Old Course
Hailed by many as the world’s greatest golf course, Trump International Golf Links, Scotland, officially opened in July 2012 with glowing international reviews and accolades. Designed by renowned links golf architect, Dr Martin Hawtree, the Par 72, 18-hole championship course is a masterpiece stretching more than 7,400 yards along the North-east coast. Woven through the Great Dunes of Scotland and boasting panoramic views of the North Sea, the course offers the ultimate challenge in golf and breathtaking scenery. With the New Course on the way, the original layout will become known as the ‘Old Course’.
With six or more tees on every hole, the championship course caters for all levels of golfer and guarantees an unforgettable experience.

The New Course
The New Course is set to open this summer, with Hawtree again at the design helm, working with Christian Lundin and Christine Fraser.
Spanning hundreds of acres of rugged coastal terrain and offering dramatic views of the North Sea, the 18-hole links course weaves together three distinct topographical areas to form a one-of-a-kind modern links that features the largest sand dunes in Scotland, heather-clad heathlands and expansive wetland areas. It’s also home to the world’s largest natural bunker and infinity greens hugging the coastal dune ridge.
It has been “meticulously designed to complement our acclaimed existing championship links course,” say Trump International.
Work began in Spring 2023 with the New Course set to be one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable courses ever built.
“Trump Aberdeen’s new course it is one of the most spectacular links courses you are ever going to find in the world. It’s beautiful,” says two-time Major champion Jon Daly, who visited last year.
World-class facilities and activities
Trump International’s extensive practice facilities include a 22-acre driving range, short game area and 3,500 square metres putting green providing exceptional playing surfaces for all shot-making requirements. A practice facilities day pass is included with every green fee.
For those who love the outdoors, woodland walks, beach runs and clay pigeon shooting form part of the Trump Estate experience. Guests can take advantage of our team of highly skilled instructors who are on-hand to help you make your target.
And for that extra bit of indulgence, the Heritage Retreat at MacLeod Lodge offers a fabulous array of bespoke body and facial treatments for ladies and gents, alongside a premium nail bar.

After a hectic day of golf and activities, you can make your way to the MacLeod House Dining Room, which is adorned with opulent furnishings and beautiful period features. It offers an extensive list of fine wines, malt whisky and indulgent menus featuring Scottish game, local fish and seasonal produce.
The team of skilled chefs crafts amazing menus designed with imagination and flair. The perfect venue for a special occasion or an indulgent treat and guaranteed to impress. There are a variety of dining options to suit all sizes and types of events, with the restaurant seating up to 34 guests, making it ideal for a party, event or small wedding. The entire MacLeod House Dining Room, Lounge and Bar can also be used for larger events with a capacity of up to 70 guests.
MacLeod House features a stunning fireplace, chandeliers, high ceilings and stunning artworks in the most luxurious and traditional of settings. You can even work with the chefs and allow them to design a menu to suit your requirements – from a casual dinner to a fine dining extravaganza or a corporate function.
