Buckinghamshire Council is looking for new tenants of the well-established club
An incredibly rare opportunity has arisen to become a tenant of a popular facility that not only boasts an 18-hole golf course, but adjoining parkland for a number of other sports.
If that’s not enough, there are also martial arts facilities, as well as two padel courts if you’re looking to get involved in the fastest-growing sport in the world.
The let, which includes South Buckinghamshire Golf Club and Farnham Park Playing Fields, near Slough, just 20 miles from central London, is available as a whole or in parts.
The agency seeing over the deal, Carter Jonas, are accepting proposals now.
Their head of rural agency, Andrew Chandler – presumably not that Andrew Chandler – described the course at South Buckinghamshire Golf Club as having “many established trees and ditches crossing the fairways, plus a small practice area, two practice nets and a practice putting green”.
He added: “It has lovely scenery, a great variety of holes, and several subtle elements that make every round both enjoyable and challenging.”
The course, which neighbours the illustrious Stoke Park, also has a modern single-storey clubhouse, which includes a bar and restaurant, meeting rooms, locker rooms, offices and, of course, a pro shop.
Farnham Park, meanwhile, “boasts six adult-size football pitches, two youth pitches, two junior pitches and two small training pitches that are available to hire,” according to Chandler.
“There are also two rugby pitches and purpose-built baseball and softball pitches – which are only purpose-built pitches of their kind in the UK.”
Interested? You’ll need to get in touch with Carter Jonas before February 28.
