Les Châteaux was designed in 1989 by American architect Bill Coore. The fairways on this classic heathland are lined with heather while the wind off the ocean makes this a fantastic challenge. It hosted the French Open in 1999. Canadian Rod Whitman laid out Les Vignes in 1991 in moor and pines and it was the stage for the European Challenge Tour final for three years from 2002.
