This year’s staff bag sports a majestic palette of purple, gold, and white, echoing the noble lineage of the venue that was crowned with Royal status in 1978 on its 100th birthday. The golden ring at the bag’s summit proudly displays the inscription “152nd,” celebrating the 152nd edition of golf’s oldest tournament. At the base of the bag, another golden ring showcases a duo of serpents, a nod to the host venue’s emblem.

The Latin phrase ‘Tam Arte Quam Marte,’ meaning ‘As Much by Skill as by Strength,’ is displayed on the handle. Gold railroad tracks with the number 11 on the back of the bag celebrate one of the course’s most challenging holes, bordered by tracks on the right side.
