Are these the boldest women’s golf clothes to date? Adidas collaborates with JAY3LLE for a fresh take on women’s golf fashion

The new women’s only collection from Adidas is designed to offer a fresh take on women’s golf attire and encourage self-expression on the golf course.

Adidas makes some of the best golf clothing and best golf shoes on the market. For their first women’s only capsule collection, Adidas has partnered with fashion designer and visionary Johan Lindeberg’s JAY3LLE label that he co-founded with his daughter, Blue.

“My daughter, Blue, and I are excited to create this special collaboration with adidas,” said Johan Lindeberg, whose label J.Lindeberg has recently announced a multi-year partnership with the DP World Tour. “They are a passionate and inspiring team with high creative ambition within golf. I have always been an Adidas fan, so it feels very natural and organic to create this collection together. I have always sought to modernize the game of golf through fashion. This capsule speaks to the energy and inclusive community that’s steadily growing in the sport and especially amongst women, which is why focusing on womenswear for this collection was so important.”

This collection has been inspired by the intersection of sport and fashion taking place in golf today, where clothing that would never have been seen on the golf course a few years back, now makes a regular appearance on the tees (hello golf hoodies and leggings).

Adidas launches a women's only capsule collection in collaboration with JAY3LLE

Adidas x JAY3LLE represents a collection of modern, functional pieces where the guiding principle behind the designs was the power of women in sport. The collection features a dynamic and vibrant color palette that includes a blend of purples, reds, and pinks contrasted against deep blacks and pure whites. Signature pieces in the line include a bomber jacket, pleated skort, and high-top CODECHAOS spikeless golf shoes.

“More women are picking up the sport than ever before and we want to be part of that driving force to show women that there are sporty and stylish options for her so she can feel confident in what she wears out on the course,” said global apparel design director, Jennie Ko. “Johan is no stranger to pushing the limits in golf fashion with what he brought to the sport in the early 2000s, so he was the perfect partner for us to push this area in the women’s game and combine our sport performance heritage with powerful looks that are representative of the women playing the sport today.”

“I’ve always taken a personal interest in fashion outside of the course, so this capsule is one I’m really excited about,” said Adidas athlete and LPGA Tour professional Linn Grant. “I was able to work with both Johan and the Adidas team to provide feedback on the pieces to help bring this collection to life, so I know these silhouettes will inspire a lot of women to get out of their comfort zone and wear something that will provide them with energy and positivity whenever they play.”

The limited Adidas x JAY3LLE collection is available now on adidas.co.uk, the Adidas app, and selected retailers worldwide.
