GEAR TEST: Ping G400 vs Ping G400 Max Driver

We put the Ping G400 Driver up against the Ping G400 Max Driver: Which should you choose?

Ping launched their G400 Driver last year, and it was hugely popular thanks to great performance and excellent numbers produced from the club.

The newest edition to the G400 line-up is the G400 Max, which has a slightly bigger head in order to increase the MOI on the club and the forgiveness for players who don’t always hit it out of the centre of the face and miss fairways because of it.

The straplines are different too: While the Ping G400 Driver says it achieves distance through speed, the G400 Max says it generates distance through forgiveness.

We got TG Top 50 Coach and Test Professional Kevin Hale to put the two clubs head to head and analyse the results.
