Thriston Lawrence (born 3 December 1996) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays on the DP World Tour and the Africa-based Sunshine Tour. He has won four times on the European Tour: the Joburg Open, Omega European Masters, South African Open Championship, and, most recently, the 2023 BMW International Open.
Not a household name, Lawrence’s best finish at a major was a T42 at the 2022 Open Championship at St Andrews, but his 65 in the third round of the 2024 Open at Royal Troon gave him a share of second heading into the final round and saw him tee off in the final group alongside leader Billy Horschel.
