What’s in the bag of history-making golfer Richard Bland?
You couldn’t not be moved by the sight of Richard Bland winning his first European Tour event at the 478th attempt in May 2021.
Bland’s play-off victory over Guido Migliozzi at the Betfred British Masters meant he became the oldest first-time Tour winner at the age of 48.
For most of his career he has battled to keep his card and has had to drop down to Challenge Tour more than once. His story is lesson for those who don’t value the importance of perseverance.
