Nicolai Hojgaard turned professional in 2019, and he achieved his maiden victory on the DP World Tour two years later, in 2021, at the DS Automobiles Italian Open. The Dane’s second professional victory on European soil came at the Ras al Khaimah Championship presented by Phoenix Capital in 2022.
Hojgaard’s most recent victory was at the 2023 DP World Tour Championship, where he fired in a final round eight-under par, 64, to hold off Viktor Hovland and Tommy Fleetwood to claim European golf’s biggest prize. Two months prior to that win, the Dane was playing alongside Fleetwood and Hovland as he represented Europe at the 2023 Ryder Cup.
Thanks to his victory at the DP World Tour Championship, Hojgaard earned a PGA Tour card for the 2024 season. In 2024, he made 18 starts on the PGA Tour, made 12 cuts, and had one top-10 finish (which was a runner-up finish at the Farmers Insurance Open).
Since earning his PGA Tour card, Hojgaard divides his time across both sides of the Atlantic, playing on both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. Let’s take a look at what equipment Hojgaard has in his bag for 2025.
