The shoe’s name comes from a strategically placed carbon-fibre shank under the midfoot that provides stability. An EVA chassis has cushioning foam for a soft feel.

As reviewed in our 2014 Shoes Test: You notice how light and comfortable they are out of the box. You certainly feel more connected with the ground and the traction on offer is superb. Stood up to all weather conditions and wiped clean easily. One of the lighter models on test and yet you didn’t lose out on comfort. The look is very sporty and modern but you can tell a lot of tech has gone into enhancing your grip.
