What we say...

Technology
The DryJoys Casual is the latest shoe from FootJoy to benefit from a number of new tech and style tweaks. In the upper section, Supersoft ECL (Extreme Comfort Leather) leather by Pittards is soft and breathable, offering more comfort without the use of a membrane. The shape comprises a full rounded toe, standard fit across the forefoot and instep with a slightly narrow heel. A new polymer outsole material called Fine-Tuned Foam (FTF) is 10% lighter than conventional EVA foams and provides more padding and shock absorption. Available in white, black or brown, and, from January 2015, also in these colourways: White/Navy, Black/White, White/Sky Blue, Medium Brown/Tan and White/Lime.

Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Shoes Test:
The styling isn’t exactly going to set pulses racing, but it’s an extremely comfortable shoe that offers a respectable level of grip. It’s a no-nonsense option that lets your golf do the talking. The design and colours available perhaps lack that wow-factor, which some may argue is a good thing. But one thing you do notice is the high comfort level. The grip was good too.

  • 5 out of 5 The most comfortable golf shoe I've worn

    By Jim XB

I buy golf shoes for comfort as well as practicality. I have arthritis in my toes, so need care in choosing shoes. Last year I changed from spiked to spikeless and was amazed at how far round the course I could walk with comfort. I've tried various spikeless shoes including the FootJoy Contour Casuals, which, although a little heavy after a while were very comfortable. The FootJoy DryJoy Casual however is in a different league. They were a perfect fit and extremely comfortable from first fitting. They also give great support and good grip. I'm not sure I would wear them as casual shoes off the course, but thoroughly recommend to anyone who needs a comfortable quality golf shoe. Jim Crosbie.
