Technology
It might look similar to last year’s ultra-light adizero Tour, but adidas claims the adizero one is a revolution rather than an evolution. As well as a new, green-friendly spike pattern, it’s 10 per cent lighter than the popular adizero. Weight is still a key factor, and new materials reduce it to 272g (the original was 300g). According to adidas, a golfer who walks 18 holes lifts his feet between 15,000 and 17,000 times – so the lighter the shoe, the fresher the legs. While traditional shoe construction requires the stitching of multiple layers, adidas created a new, ultra-light one-piece fused upper that bonds together five layers to deliver a glove-like fit.
Looks
The first thing you notice is the strategically-placed centre cleat, which is designed to provide more traction through impact while meaning just seven spikes are needed instead of 10. The old adizero came in for some criticism for the marks it left on soft greens, so these spikes aren’t as deep as the old ones. Available in four colours.
Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Shoes Test: Very, very light – good if you tend to get tired. They’re very performance-focused, with a firm, rigid feel and little padding. The outsole is made of a very hard material and makes a loud noise when you walk on solid surfaces. They’re very light but you do lose out a little on comfort. Good shape, snug fit and the material is soft enough and easy to clean. Loads of grip too.

Very light golf shoes, but uncomfortable to wear and don't keep the water out. Wont be considering buying Adidas golf shoes in the future based on this shoe.

Really comfortable to wear, I had no need to break them in. Very good traction through the golf swing. They are also extremely light. Would recommend to everyone to at least try a fitting if looking at buying a new pair of shoes.
