Managed to get some real spinny shots out of the sand when required to a tight flag.
What we say...
2013 Wedges Test
The look of the club both at address and in the bag was a winner across the board for our testing team. The Satin finish combined with the classic head design and slightly rounded leading edge gave our team confidence at address from all lies around the green. James noted how the convex shape of the M sole grind, which comes with the 56° in mid-bounce option, gave him the bounce he wanted in the higher lofted wedges and allowed him to open the face without raising the leading edge significantly. He also managed to get some real spinny shots out of the sand when required to a tight flag.
Kit felt they were the perfect shape and size, the abundance of grooves really stood out and that the higher-lofted wedges were extremely versatile. He and Joel commented how they worked through all lengths of grass and gripped surprisingly well out of the longer grass. Chris felt the versatility of the wedge set gave him more confidence to play different shots around the green he may not have played with other wedges. This was a standout winner worthy of the top award.
