What we say...
The Marxman X-Act Putting Wedge is a revolution in golfing technology. It combines components from wedges and putters to create a hybrid-like club for play around the greens – their shortcut to one-putt greens.
The Marxman X-Act is designed to function like an approach putter, providing an easy to hit option that plays perfectly between a putter and a wedge for those tricky shots around the greens.
The putting wedge features a high definition alignment system for better aiming and a grooveless polymer insert on the face of the club. This helps shots roll like a putt when the ball lands on the green rather than bounce like with a wedge.
It also has a hybrid-like sole design moves through the turf smoothly for less stubbed chips. With 37 degrees of loft, it’s easy to get the ball into the air quickly.
The Odyssey Divine Line Marxman X-Act Wedge is a shortcut to more one-putt greens. This new short-game option utilises the same alignment technology found in Odyssey Marxman Putters, but is designed to function like an approach putter. The result is an easy-to-hit club that plays perfectly between a putter and a wedge for the tricky shots around the green.
The Odyssey Divine Line X-Act Putting Wedge is versatile enough for three shots that will get your ball on the green and rolling sooner:
- The pitch shot – a high trajectory shot from about 15 yards off the green. The pitch is not meant to roll very far after it lands.
- The chip shot – from 3-5 yards off the green, the chip shot gets the ball onto the surface of the green quicker, rolling toward the cup.
- The bump 'n run – typically hit from just off the green, the Bump ‘n’ Run has a lower trajectory than a chip shot and rolls like a putt.
