2013 Wedges Test

For Joel and James, this was one of the spinnier wedges on test and the launch monitor data backs this up, both from the fairway and the rough. The three new grinds were a welcome addition to our test team, James saying the standard grind still had enough heel relief to allow him to open the clubface from tight lies.

Joel felt the shape and size was flawless while Chris enjoyed the slight curve to the leading edge and how the white grooves framed the ball at address. While Kit didn’t get the spin the others got, he was blown away by the consistently soft feel from all lies, which helped him judge distances better on finesse shots. This wedge doesn’t have any real weaknesses and will offer performance for every level of golfer.
