Good for anyone looking for extra help getting down and beneath the golf ball from sand.

What we say...

The MacGregor Tour wedge was the heaviest we tested, so it would be good for anyone looking for extra help getting down and beneath the golf ball from sand. The forged heads are pleasantly soft and responsive, and their rounded soles lend themselves to being rolled open to cut up shorter chips.

A decent performer when it comes to spin, and the impressive satin-finished heads will catch the eye in a pro shop. Probably not a wedge everyone is going to fall in love with, but its performance warrants a hard look if you are undecided.

Deep head with semi-square face gives a larger hitting zone for better workability. Cambered sole reduces bounce and gives a high trajectory.
