Cons
Limited lofts mean it’s not possible to buy a complete short game set, which could leave you with wedges that feel and perform differently.
What we say...
At less than £40, the HiPPO HWT wedge wouldn’t be a bad choice for someone looking for their first lob wedge or a cheap club to help get them out of jail. With such stiff competition, the HiPPO HWT faded into the crowd of wedges that performed solidly without the wow factor.
Limited lofts mean it’s not possible to buy a complete short game set, which could leave you with wedges that feel and perform differently, but put this aside and you have a golf club that feels responsive enough to land and stop balls, with a traditional appearance to keep you looking the part.
Forged from mild carbon steel to provide exacting feel and feedback. Available in traditional forges steel and gunmetal finishes.
