What we say...
Tech:
A unique milling pattern provides improved contact in both wet and dry conditions. A C-grind sole offers maximum versatility and allows the leading edge to rest on the ground for longer on open-faced shots. CNC milled grooves ensure maximum spin and control.
Our verdict:
Bettinardi is well known for creating super high-end premium putters that blend technology with traditional design. He’s used similar thinking for the H2 wedges. We won’t put up any protest that these aren’t superb looking wedges. From the head shape to the feel and spin everything is absolutely spot on. But before you splash the cash its worth pointing out that thanks to their very low and sharp leading edges you’ll need to be a clean accurate short game ball striker to get along with them well. Even better if you play often from links turf where ball striking’s at a premium.
Bottom line:
A cracking premium wedge which you can’t fail to like the look of. It’s low and sharp leading edge will limit its appeal to those that have confidence in their short game, but trust us you won’t be disappointed if that’s you.
