The C-grind effectively takes some bounce off the club on open faced shots making a wider variety of shots available.

What we say...

Tech:

Maximum volume precision milled face grooves with laser milled micro grooves. An aggressive C-Grind sole maximises playability from any lie. An oxide blast finish eliminates glare. Tour proven teardrop head shape.

Our verdict:

Benross come in at the lower end of the scale when it comes to cost, but as we’ve seen before lower price doesn’t always mean less performance. We really liked the Zip It’s steely grey finish which frames the ball really nicely at address. Fairplay to Benross also for using a laser etched pattern on the face to maximise spin. The heads are a fraction bigger than some on test but this really shouldn’t put anyone off. They set up nicely and perform admirably for a wedge at this price point.

Bottom line:

If £60-£70 is your absolute budget the Zip It are well worth a look. They weren’t the highest spinning wedge on test but if solid feel and versatile performance are just as important to you as the price you won’t go far wrong here.
