What we say...
TaylorMade is the only company that makes a top-of-the-range rescue club that allows you to change its shot bias.
We’ve tested the TaylorMade Rescue Dual before and the golf club has always performed really solidly. Two weight ports in the rear of the head mean plenty of weight is located low and away from the face.
This helps it hit higher flighted shots than the other rescue clubs involved in the test. From the tee, the TaylorMade Rescue Dual is as good as it gets, and is guaranteed to out-perform any long iron in your bag. It wasn’t our pro’s favourite club, but he was surprised by the performance. If you’re considering a rescue club, this should be right up there.
For players looking for greater distance, accuracy and forgiveness from their rescue club. Features Moveable weight technology.

Having bought this club seven years ago I can't complain as it's still in my bag. I have even bought a replacement G10 two years ago, but that is now sat in the garage as the Taylormade can't be shifted out my bag! It works from all lies and gives a nice penetrating flight in the wind. It's also very forgiving. It should be noted after reading another review that this doesn't have a fade setting - you can either set it up in neutral or draw. However, at the price this will be available at now I'd suggest it.

Easy to hit and MWT really helps Goes long and lands soft perfect :)

i Have the 3 iron version which i bought off the pro at our club for winning junior open, i normally hit a fade but this club is set up for a fade but is the only club i consistantley draw, Long and forgiving, but the weighting does not really make much difference for me.Great for T shots

excellent club to use anywhere around the course

i got 22 degrees loft. had it for bout 7-8 months. have now decided to trade it in for either a halo or a x hybrid. it does its job and gets it high and lands soft. problem is i thought 22 degree was 3 iron loft, but it doesnt go anywhere! i regualy hit my 4 or even 5 iron further than this goes! i used to all or most of shots left, changed weights to fade and started hitting most straight. its just so short thers no point it being in my bag. im getting a 18 or 19 degree model now

This is a great club. I've got the TP version of the 3 with a steel shaft. I think the (shorter) steel shaft makes it more versatile from poor lies. I tried the standard vesion, but couldn't stop hitting it left, even with the weights configured for "neutral" which is the most to the right you can go with the standard club. But the TP is superb. I've got that set up with equal weights left and right and it just flies straight and high and carries 200yds. Fantastic.

I've found it useful to have at least 1 rescue club in my bag and these are better than the rescue mid I had previously. They're a good compromise if you can't get on with a fairway wood as the bad shots don't end up being so bad and usually still end up in play, but ultimately you'll loose distance when compared with a wood, especially if the course you play at is in an exposed location. They are though without doubt better from poor lies, especially the rough from autumn through to spring, so ultimately it's worth having at least one in your bag for these occasions.

Ive only just got one of these, a 19 deg TP version with a xtra stiff speedster shaft. Since ive started using it, its become one one of the most used clubs in my bag as its great at getting you out of tricky situations where my 3 iron isnt long enough. Its allowed me to make some par 5 greens in two and has realy helped lower my scores.

After years of struggling to hit my long irons consistently I bought a 19 and a 22 degree rescue dual. Without a doubt it's the best cash I've ever spent. I now hit these with confidence from the tee, fairway and rough. In the past i had few options on the tee now i can play for position if i don't fancy the driver. Its long and straight and its revived the long game. Get one and reap the benefits too!!!!
