What we say...
TG Hybrid Test 2012
Both pro James and David were impressed thanks to a penetrating ball flight and compact head. Despite the smaller head, James felt the hitting area was large and offered good forgiveness. Alan thought it felt too light.

Today’s Golfer Hybrid Test 2011
Tested: July 2011
Testing panel:

Ben Miles (HCP 17)
The first thing to note about the 2011 Rescue is that it is white, following on from the driver trend with the R11 and Burner Superfast 2.0 – and this went down well with our team who said it looked very classy.
Dave and Leon in particular loved the powerful feel from the face and that helped them record some good distance stats while Ben said he gained a lot of confidence over the ball from the nicely shaped head and the high degree of forgiveness.
Pro Chris said he would prefer the head to look a little more compact at address and admitted he was a little disappointed with the feedback from the head. However, he said performance-wise it was excellent and the adjustable hosel gave a plethora of loft options off the tee and for attacking distant greens.

The stunning new R11 driver and fairway wood is joined by the superb-looking 11 Rescue hybrid. Golfers can adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology, and the new rescue club features a deeper face and lower centre of gravity making it easier to launch. The white non-glare crown and contrasting black face, a feature of all TaylorMade's new range, makes it easier to align too. TaylorMade has not 'bottled' it and produced black versions of the new range so get down to your nearest pro shop and see if you like the white!

This was my first ever rescue club. I walked into the shop expecting to buy the Burner2.0 version, but as advised in store, for an extra £10 odd quid, the added option of the flexible loft was too much to turn down! It did take me a LONG time to get used to the club, do i hit it like a wood? a long iron? etc etc. once i had it sussed, its now hitting 200+yrds from pretty much any lie! its simply awesome! I have the 4 which i s 18deg loft.
