What we say...

Our first impression was how much the Prestige XDC 909 looked like a steel-toecapped boot! The glistening black and silver crown drew our attention away from the ball – not a good idea for most of us.

But once we got our heads around the cosmetics and started hitting golf balls, we found the golf club performed okay, with its nicely rounded sole making the club versatile from any lie.

With a price tag of £59 the Prestige XDC 909 is towards the budget end of the rescue clubs market, and it doesn’t sport the best components, either, so we reckon this is more of a middle-of-the-road gof club. It performs adequately without having the necessary wow factor to lure your attention away from other clubs, which offer a better quality product for a similar price.

Low centre of gravity generates a higher flight for increased control and accuracy. Produces great distances from tough lies.
