What we say...
At 23°, the Masters MC-Z 700 had the weakest loft of all the rescue clubs we tested, so when it recorded the shortest carry distance on test, we weren’t surprised.
Two movable weights mean you can set the golf club up for draw or neutral shot. But the ports are very close together, and when we decided to swap weights, our golf ball flight wasn’t noticeably different.
So we think these weights could be considered more of a gimmick than a real game improvement opportunity in the Masters MC-Z 700. We warmed to the sweet, high ball flight, which would carry and stop nicely, even if we couldn’t win any prizes when it came to our accuracy test. This wouldn’t be our first choice if we had £70 to spend on a rescue club, but it’s still a fair effort from Masters.
Movable weight technology means ball flight can be tailored to your game. A low profile face and carbon crown make getting shots airborne easier.
