What we say...
Cobra has built an army of top Tour players over the last few seasons, and it is requests from these guys that have led to the Cobra Baffler Pro being developed.
The excellent shaft and less offset mean ball flight is much lower than the Cobra DWS, which has picked up our gold award.
It’s for this reason we can only recommend this to hard-hitting golfers who don’t have problems getting shots airborne. Undoubtedly a good product, but very much for better players.
The Cobra Baffler Pro Hybrid Features a new straight neck design. This Hybrid takes everything you love about the Baffler Utility Metals and brings it to the more accomplished player. A club designed for the more accomplished player, positioned as a technically advanced, non-offset long iron alternative with optimal launch, trajectory, and workability.
Performance Goals include; Optimal Trajectory for high swing speed / high ball speed players, enhanced workability for “shot making” and a tour head shape and an all black top-line at address.
This specially engineered utility metal is the result of a collaboration between Cobra's Tour staff and the Cobra R&D team.
It features a more compact profile with a Tour preferred set-up, plus a laser-welded 275 maraging steel face insert which promotes higher ball speeds across the face for more distance. In addition, a swing weight adjustment screw (for custom shaft orders) promotes neutral weighting and trajectory.
