Pros
More penetrating flight than the driver. Adjustability is intuitive. Very accurate.

Cons
Not the most forgiving. The modern look won’t appeal to traditionalists.
What we say...
2013 Hybrids Test
The vibrant Amp Cell range has been a hit-and-miss in our tests this year, but this won them over. The design is funky but not off-putting and our testers agreed the design and head size was spot on. James liked how square it sat at address and the strong contrast between the clubface and crown. Matt also enjoyed the look and feel at address but felt it was a little unforgiving, especially from the toe. He did find strikes from the middle were really powerful and held their line.
Antony was content with the busy look and found it easy to align. He made use of the adjustability, too, tweaking the loft slightly down to 21˚ to gain a stronger flight.
Cobra’s MyFly technology offers six loft settings; SmartPad technology helps deliver a square clubface regardless of loft. AMP CELL and E9 Technology frees up additional discretionary weight for an enlarged clubface to deliver faster ball speeds on off-centre hits. Available in four colours and lofts 3+, 3, 3 Draw, 4+, 4 and 4 Draw.
