Compact size and classic shape is a real winner. Performance admirable, too.

What we say...

2013 Hybrids Test

James found the swing weight felt very light, which meant he struggled to have any awareness of where the clubhead was during the swing, impacting his confidence. In turn, this meant he couldn’t be as aggressive as he’d like. He rated the simplicity of the classic hybrid design, noting how nicely it sat behind the ball. Matt and Antony loved the traditional appearance, saying it looked classy and felt really nice out of the sweetspot.

Matt felt this was an excellent all-round club. Antony enjoyed the similarity between this and his existing cobra model, saying it not only looked good, but was forgiving on off-centre strikes, too. All of our testers felt it glided through the rough with very little resistance.

The centre of gravity is positioned deeper in the head to promote a higher launch and a more penetrating ball flight. Cleveland’s Gliderail sole, comprising two rails and a subtle centre keel, reduces drag through the turf and promotes a higher launch and plenty of forgiveness.
