What we say...
High marks across the board for the Callaway Diablo rescue club – apart from dispersion. One of the longest on test and Jon gave it five out of five in all categories. David loved the powerful feel and forgiving nature while Roger described this as a “proper golf club”. The rails on the bottom are designed to help it glide through the rough and it excelled in this area. Chris wasn’t a massive fan of the looks and our pro’s dispersion stats ultimately denied the Callaway Diablo rescue club a gold award. Despite that, this is yet another top product from Callaway.

2010 Review:
Chris said this club oozed quality and his excellent distance and dispersion stats backed this up. He loved the way it sat, feeling it was extremely inviting to hit. Pro James said this was one of the most forgiving on test and would recommend it to higher handicappers who struggle with consistency. David also enjoyed great dispersion stats and loved the forgiveness when he caught a few out of the toe. Mark’s tendency to hit the ball left meant the offset didn’t suit him but he still rated the forgiveness.

My handicap? 14 Clubs in a bag - well it was until I tried this amazing club and its now 13 clubs + this one. It really is a super bit of kit that really goes so well off the tee, the fairway or out of the rough. I really manage to hit the ball well more often than not with this club, and the fact that it feels a little heavier than some of the others makes it easier to control in my inexpierienced hands. Do try it and I believe that you will be amazed
