What we say...
The Callaway Diablo Edge Tour Hybrid comes highly commended in issue 271 of Today's Golfer.
Designed with vertical centre of gravity optimisation and a unique sole design, the Diablo Edge Tour hybrid provides the more skilled golfer with a more penetrating ball flight and stronger distance-enhancing trajectories.
The Tour model has a less offset hosel and an even lower, forward CG which provides a penetrating ball flight with additional workability preferred by higher swing speeds.
Callaway Staff professionals such as Nick Dougherty, Anton Haig, Niclas Fasth and Thongchai Jaidee have all been using them in recent months.

I recently went to Formby Hall and spent a couple of hours with the senior pro in the video suite. Now as he is a friend of mine I knew I wouldn't get the usual blurb. My main priority was to check launch and spin etc off my irons but we did get round to discussing my woods. For some reason I really struggle to keep the 3 and 5 down and playing on a really testing links this is a problem. The driver however is good and I had no desire to change this. So his recommendation was to fit at least one rescue in my bag. He happened to have the 2 hybrid there and it was a dream to hit. We had it on the monitor going 230+ which is more than I get out of the 3 wood. On the back of this I purchased the 2&3 last week and played with them on Saturday. It was a windy sort of day and one of the clubs majors. The SSS went up to 75 and I rolled in with a 71 and bagged 3rd spot.Due to this I got docked 0.8. So why the hurrah you ask, well it is the only round that I have never used the driver once. The 3&5 woods, and 3 iron were removed, in went the 2&3 hybrids. I'm not joking when I tell you these are phenomenal. Ultra forving, fantastic flight and long..... I missed 2 fairways basically with a couple a few feet off. This is the most enjoyable round I can ever remember and I would say an even better purchase than my Vega's.
