“I haven’t heard of the brand before, but I’m really impressed with them,” was Ben’s reaction after hitting the Adams Tech V3 hybrids for the first time. He loved the sleek black looks and the forgiving nature and this was echoed by Leon, who said it gave him loads of confidence off the tee.

But Chris said he wasn’t as taken with the head profile as for him it sat a little toe-up at address but he was impressed with the performance and the feel. For Dave this was one of the best performers on test.

Another great plus point with the Tech V3 hybrids is the sheer number of loft options available – from 16° to 33° – so getting the right hybrid set-up is easier. Not the cheapest product on test but a worthy contender and award winner.
