What we say...

Yes! has made inroads on Tour with its concentric half-circle grooves on the face of its putters, and the latest entry is a forged model made of manganese bronze.

The milled putter face grooves are designed to grip the ball to reduce skidding and encourage top-spin. The result is a solid feeling putter that keeps the golf ball rolling rather than skidding to the hole.

Introduced in 2006, the Yes! Callie-f Putter is a traditionally styled cavity back putter formed from one-piece of forged manganese-bronze.

The grooves are precision milled into the face revealing its golden grooves. All but the grooves are then oxidized to provide a non-glare finish to the body.

The Callie-f is the ultimate marriage of traditional forged material combined with the patented C-GROOVE technology, resulting in a superior roll and a soft, responsive feel

Yes Golf Putters User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Great putter

    By the Scot

I must agree with everything the previous reviewer has said.  The grip is lovely and allows you to hold the putter with tenderness and let the weight do all the work (but it does mark up very fast). The headcovers too are pretty cool.  The only problem I found was that I struggled with alignment.  This is more to do with me than the putter.  I found that I like to have a more substantial head with a longer alignment mark on it.  The roll that the grooves achieve and feel with even quite hard balls is unequalled and I think that if you can afford to pay the price it is certainly worth considering one of the Yes! range.

I purchased this about 2 months ago as an alternative to my Odyssey Rossie and haven't looked back. Seemingly identical in appearance to the Scotty Cameron Newport I also tried in the shop, the Callie was a bit heavier in feel and I found the extra weight gave more stability in the stroke and also helped my distance control. However, its the feel and feedback coupled with the smooth roll off the face that make putting so enjoyable. I don't know whether it's the grooves or not, but my putts have never been truer, and the crisp feel of the face is icing on the cake. The 'sticky' Winn AVS grips also feel great although they do get dirty very quickly. Not that I care when I'm rolling in 15 - 20 footers.
