Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City Putter Review: You need to know

A traditional toe and heel weighted cavity blade with extra weight in the grip to create a counter balanced putter. A double milled face ensures precision, parallel and perpendicular sight lines highlight alignment and your strokes path.

Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City Putter Review: We say

The classic ‘Anser’ blade toe and heel weighted putter has barely changed in 40 years, and we’ve seen and reviewed tons of similar models over the years. For us the best stand-out feature of the Windy City is the white stripe on the back of the top edge which is really useful for checking you set the blade up square to a line drawn on a golf ball.

Other than that we’ve got no issues, with the firm feel, CNC face milling and oversized counter-balanced grip even though the Windy City wouldn’t be our favourite Wilson Infinite model. A cosmetic makeover updates the Infinite’s look for 2018.

Do putter face grooves really make a difference?

Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City Putter Review: Verdict

Competition is fierce in the blade category as every brand makes a model they swear is worthy of your attention. For £95 the Windy City offers reasonable value for money, and certainly won’t let you down. At this price though it can’t boast of some of the bells and whistles that make a few expensive models exceptional.
