What we say...

We showcased the Wilson Staff 8876 Putter in Issue 244 and looked forward to putting it through its paces in our test. Many golfers will recognise the design from Nick Faldo’s glory years in the late 80s and early 90’s when he bagged two Masters and an Open with his trusty half-mallet. Now Wilson have updated this classic with their latest face insert technology and judging by the results, they have really cracked it. When you consider the price of this beautifully designed and finished putter, it just cannot be beaten for value.

2009 Review

A more old fashioned mid mallet which got a big thumbs uo from the testers. It looked solid and the red and white alignment aid was a bit hit with Pete. The anodised aluminium face insert gave the 8876 a lovely feel on putts of all lengths.
