What we say...
The Tech:
A multi-material design which has a lightweight sole and face unit to remove ineffective weight. 20g weights in the toe and heel help improve MOI for extra stability which should equate to more putts holed.
Our verdict:
Not an out and out blade design but not really a true mallet either, so we’ve included the Golo 6 in our Blade category. As far as MOI goes the GOlO 6 with its heavy steel body and lightweight aluminium face and sole will out perform all comers in the blade category. The face-balanced model is also well suited to a straight back and through stroke which opens up the design to blade enthusiasts that don’t possess a perfect arcing putting stroke. We loved the feel and roll from the soft aluminium face which as you’d expect of a Scotty putter is pure class.
Bottom line:
A really solid option if you’re attracted to blade putters but don’t have the perfect rotating putting stroke to match. Scotty with this multi-material head has elevated putter design as close as a golf club can be to being art!
