What we say...
If brilliant putting was purely about spinning the golf ball less, this putter would have won our test hands-down. TaylorMade has developed its grooved insert specifically to get putts rolling quicker. And by hitting the golf ball with more topspin than any other putter here, it has achieved that.
While the beautifully crafted head looks the part, it is tiny and pretty unforgiving. We reckon it’s more suited to the better player looking for an edge in performance, rather than being the perfect putter for anyone looking to improve. There are more forgiving designs that are better for average golfers.
TaylorMade AGSI anti-skid grooves help get putts rolling quicker and smoother with this mallet headed putter.
