Technology
The Rife General Putter is a symmetrical mallet which features wings that feedback for great stability and alignment. The three sight lines and a paint filled top line make this model a breeze to line up.
Tested
As reviewed in our 2014 Putters Test: Another solid effort from Rife, its new range is really impressive. The face on the General appears small due to the shape of the head, but that‘s not a bad thing at all. Excellent roll just like Rife’s other models, maybe launched the ball a little better than their bladed offering. Good at starting the ball on line, but couldn’t get distance control, and left a lot of putts short. Grip is spongy and tacky. A nicely balanced, quality product.
