Very simple to use and align with its distinctive black and white alignment aids.
What we say...
The classic Zebra shape is back, but it looks decidedly small compared to many of the larger heads of today. Having equipped the putter with a new, soft plastic insert the Zebra is ready for 2005.
The putter is very simple to use and align with its distinctive black and white alignment aids. We found the ball rolled very smoothly off the face and the lovely striking sound gave a welcome boost to confidence. The grip is a pleasure to hold and its C-Thru tacky surface transfers good feedback from the face. It’s just a shame that Ram have opted for a garish sticker beneath the grip to promote the brand. This may catch the eye on the shop floor but looks a little pretentious on the course – obviously this can be changed if you don’t mind buying a new grip.
The Zebra is as good as it always was and it comes at a very competitive price. Even if you normally go for a big-name golf putters, this offering from Ram is worth a test putt.
