The face insert is soft enough to allow tricky putts to be coaxed up to the hole, and the weighty head seems to swing itself.

What we say...

The Ping G5i Piper isn’t anywhere near as cool or sexy as our award-winning Ping Redwood, but it could be described as its solid, reliable, dependable cousin.

There is little to dislike about the design and it’s half the cost of the big boy putters. The face insert is soft enough to allow tricky putts to be coaxed up to the hole, and the weighty head seems to swing itself.

Okay, the blue alignment aid is a bit garish, but for the club golfer who wants every buck they spend to count, the Ping G5i offers a lot.

These Pings provide the feel and distance control that all golfers crave. The insert cavity is precision machined to ensure consistency.
