What we say...
The Tech:
Choose from lighter or heavier headed versions which allow you to tune MOI and feel to your own game. True Roll grooves vary in width and depth from the centre of the face to offer forgiveness by normalizing ball speeds across the face.
Our verdict:
The Ketsch’s wide stretched body is ideal for increasing forgiveness which is particularly useful if you don’t hit a majority of putts from the centre of the face. We really liked the heads simplicity, its actually a precision milled design but there’s simply one long sight line in the centre and two smaller lines which highlight the edges of the ball, giving a clear indicator where you should be hitting every putt. Ping have made a big deal about their “True Roll” groove technology and we’d happily agree the Ketsch has the ability to roll putts beautifully and hole out with the best of them.
Bottom line:
A lovely engineered putter from Ping. The choice of a lighter or heavier models mean you can tailor the club to your own preference. Putters don’t come much more forgiving than this.
