The Odyssey White Steel's giant golf head is forgiving and less likely to twist on off-centre hits.
What we say...
Just like a modern driver, the Odyssey White Steel’s giant golf head is forgiving and less likely to twist on off-centre hits. And if the three-ball alignment still can’t help you to aim straight, we suggest you take up bowling instead!
We know the design of this putter will divide opinion, because it did exactly that when it arrived in the TG office. Some felt as if they were putting with a frying pan! But when we took it out on the golf course, we’d never felt so confident over those five-footers.
It was more of a struggle to miss the hole than it was to roll in putts. Its performance was just as impressive from 30ft or more, and we found it easy to cosy the golf ball up to the hole. The White Steel’s face insert gives a firm, responsive feel, which club golfers will find reassuring and comforting over softer putters.
Enormous MOI and a tri-ball alignment system make the Odyssey White Steel putter easy to align and forgiving on off-centre hits.
