What we say...
The 2023 iteration of the Odyssey Versa putters, will see a change in shaft, the return of an iconic face insert, and a design that makes alignment as simple as black and white.
Alignment is a huge feature on many of the game’s best putters. On most putts within 12 feet, one single degree offline can result in the ball missing the hole.
World-renowned instructor Phil Kenyon and many Tour Pros are massive fans of Versa and say it is great at enhancing putting alignment performance.
Odyssey have taken on advice from coaches such as Kenyon and tour pros to bring back the Versa alignment and the brand believe it is back better than ever. Versa is so popular amongst golfers as its bold contrasting design allows you to align the face through the swing.
The black and white color highlights important parts of the head that are key when putting and helps golfers maintain face angle to make a more consistent strike.
Features & Benefits
Versa Alignment
This proven, major-winning Versa technology has dominated Tours all over the world. The black and white high contrast alignment system helps golfers with their alignment at address and through your stroke. It highlights the proper face angle and improves concentration, so you make more putts.
White Hot Insert
The original White Hot formulation creates an incredible feel, sound, and performance in one exceptional two-part urethane insert. Versa and the iconic White Hot insert are long-time favorites of tour players and golfers alike. Odyssey have been asked to bring back these technologies and they’ve listened.
Red Stroke Lab Shaft
The newest generation of proven multi-material Stroke Lab shaft features even better performance. By shortening the steel section, they reduced the weight by seven grams. Odyssey also made it stiffer and more stable for even more consistency in your stroke and your performance.
Versa Head Shapes
Odyssey Versa One putter
One is the archetypal toe and heel weighted blade putter. See the One’s slightly stubbier body and flowing curved back bumpers as an alternative to Ping’s Anser or Scotty Cameron’s Newport and you really won’t go too far wrong.
A cranked neck gives moderate levels of toe hang so the model is a good fit for slight arc strokes.
Odyssey Versa Double Wide putter
The name double wide comes from the head being almost twice as wide as a traditional blade putter head. The Double Wide comes with a cranked hosel (it’s got a slight toe hang) so the model is well suited to slight arc strokes.
Double wide putters have grown significantly in popularity over the last five years as their body size dictates offering slightly more stability and forgiveness than a traditional narrow body blade.
