If you take out the looks score, the Backstryke would have been challenging for a podium finish. According to Odyssey the strange design helps a “hands forward” position. Alex noted a helpful alignment system and Chris also found it very easy to use. Jon’s eye soon got used to the appearance and the performance eclipses any doubt.

Like with many of the slightly strangelooking wands, give it time and the look becomes less important. It’s all about performance, and this product offered a top notch return.
