2011 Review
George and Alex both felt this was a very solid offering from Nike, with Alex particularly keen on the slightly-smaller, half-moon shape of the head. He also noted how forgiving and consistent the putter was. Chris was the only tester who didn’t give it the thumbs up. In truth, there wasn’t much to choose between the Core and the original Method but the Method offered slightly better feel. Jon also produced good results with the Core from range, holing two putts and getting two more within inches of the hole.

The Method putters really put Nike on the map in this category – previous offerings were not the best but the Tour-proven Method range has been a massive hit with pros and amateurs This is the largest model that the new Method Core is offered in, but it is certainly more of a bone fide cruiserweight than a genuine heavyweight. It features a new insert that quietens down vibrations to offer the golfer a better sound for more accurate feel. The milled steel grooves engineered on the face also get the ball rolling truer.
