Slightly “clinky” sound and a heavy feel.
What we say...
Tech: SS6 is made from 304 stainless steel. The double milled face helps with strike consistency and distance control by limiting skid.
Reader Reviews:
● MP I quite enjoyed this putter. I favour that big round shape; it’s easy to line up, swung lovely, and consistent.
● JC According to the dataI was suddenly aiming right, surprising given the strong sight lines. Feel was a little firm off the face, though not a hard putter to swing purely.
● JCox It framed the ball really well. The sound was a bit pingy, but results were impressive. The sight lines helped me aim.
● DL Sweet strike, and shows you don’t need white on black to create an effective alignment aid. But didn’t fit my eye, and I felt I ‘lost’ the head a bit.
Each putter in the John Letters Silver Swan range has been crafted from 304 stainless steel and is produced with a double CNC Milled face for great feel and accuracy. The SS6 is the largest putter in the range and has been designed with a high-definition alignment aid on the length of the club head to help get golfers on the correct line.
The modern mallet design of the SS6 also helps to position the weight towards the rear of the head, which in turn increases MOI and adds forgiveness. We think the quality materials and excellent price point will make this a winner with lots of golfers in 2012.
