2013 Putters Test

James and Joel agreed the crown had a lot going on at address, which was off-putting. James commented on a heavy feel which meant he struggled to get the face back to square on short putts and control the pace on long ones. Dave got a consistent roll, but didn’t like the look, saying the holes in the sole created shadows. Ben liked the feel of the grip, but struggled to gauge distances.

The Hotblade Hotspot 002 mid-mallet putter features a  431 stainless steel head, an 11g CNC milled anodised aluminium face insert and staggered weighting mallet style head for ultra low COG. The two tone head is great for high visibility alignment aid and the putter features an offset hosel for easy alignment and a discretional weight placement sole to optimise MOI.
